Hi

I am seriously considering buying one of these but wonder is settings for Shadows tunes are available anywhere or is it just trial and error ?

I would contact Dave Robinson - a moderator and regular poster on this site.
He uses one and has produced a set of Shadows echoes for the pedal.
Cheers,

There aren't a set of patches for the Catalinbread pedal. It's a manual machine and the instructions are self explanatory as to which heads are engaged as the control is turned, along with the regeneration, echo mix, speed and tone. I bought it and it took five minutes to sort out the required positions. If what you really need is a pre-programmed machine I wouldn't recommend this one, but that said it's easy to operate.

I would add that the settings I described earlier in this thread are roughly where anyone buying one of these should start, then fine tune to your own satisfaction. :)

If you are mainly a "home" player the settings Dave gave for Apache/Frightened City will do most of the earlier stuff and the Wonderful land settings sound ok with the speed turned down to 11 for Atlantis, Dance On onward. Not exact, but I doubt anyone would know if you used in alive situation!

Hi Dave I have just bought a Calinbread Echoric Pedal as I used to have a real Binson and wanted to recreate those great sounds.
However due to its limitations in gig situations I have now acquired a Zoom G3X which I know you have used yourself and
I note from your previous postings on this and the Charlie Hall site that you have provided some members with details of Shadows settings.
How could I access these?
Many thanks
Michael

If you are looking for Dave's patches for the G3X, I still have them in my files. If you want them just send me a PM with your email address.
