Less than two weeks now to Christmas so I thought it would be nice to do a slightly “odd” Christmas number (What? Me do “odd”? Nah!!) as well as my traditional Christmas tune,
So – here's a little Christmassy Rocker to set you on your way – Rockin' Robin from 1958. Its only 2 mins and 15 secs so I won't keep you long.
The original was recorded by Bobby Day it was a No2 in the US “Billboard Hot 100” at the time. It was then completely ripped off by The Jackson 5 in 1972 – nuff said – where it also made No2 in the USA and got to No3 over here. My version rocks on nicely. I hope that you enjoy it.

Great bouncy rhythm to this one Ian - the Robin makes us think of the Christmas period but I remember that this number was quite popular
with groups doing the rounds in Pop tours during the 60s.

Good guitar sound too!
