Having had the Hall & Collins a month I decided to re-visit one or two tracks and have a listen to the originals before re-recording them.
Armed with 13/56 round-wound Fender strings and my Vox AC-4 here's 36-24-36. :)

Hi Dave, great authentic sound and playing, on the original it sounds like the echo is turned off when Hank is playing the riff on the 8th fret,E +B strings about (45secs), have you ever noticed this ? regards gary

That's very close, Dave.

The only difference I notice is that Hank's guitar sounds further away and less toppy than yours does.

This is the same track using the UB Hank BT which I don't like at all as the rhythm is naff. Nice tail on the echo at the end though. :)
