Hi Robby, I will reiterate what I said in another forum:

You are a guitar master. You have the tone not only in your guitar and echo, but in your fingers. You have excellent technique, with both hands, and that is important, but the quality of tone you produce is what sets you apart from an average, or even very good guitar player and makes you an artist. Your playing reminds me of Hank's. There, I said it !! :o

Cheers,
Bojan

Hi Pete,

Thanks very much for your nice compliments! :)
The guitar is not an official Fender, I put together Alan Brason's neck and Alder body from Warmoth wishing to look and sound like the "Original" Strat. I put Fender CS'54 pickups on the guitar. I think it does the job very well! Technique wise, a lot of early Shads were played by picking around middle pickup to get those distinctive sounds, contrary to Hank's later techniques where he picks around the neck and hold vibrato arm all the time. So It tried that too. I hope this makes sense.

Hi Bojan,

Always nice to hear from you. Thanks for your glowing review, very much appreciated!! :D

Regards,

Robby
