Indeed. Many thanks, Donna.

Despite the obvious presence of guitar leads, etc, the video has to be mimed. Long shots show no evidence of Hank's DeArmond tone/volume pedal, yet its effect can be clearly heard on that performance of Wonderful Land. And John seems to be strumming that Jazz Bass quite theatrically...

I agree. I was referring to the studio shot. The video must surely have been done to a pre-recorded track. The keyboard was doing a lot more than the piano we see. And, yes, John's hand movements were pretty extravagant for the notes he was playing!

I would estimate the studio shot (with the Gretsch guitar and the sunburst Jazz Bass) as 1966. Mainly because of the more up-to-date clothing and haircuts. Bruce didn't look like that in 1964...

I think this is a screen grab I made some time ago from the Pop Goes The 60s video. I was just trying to capture the way Bruce and John worked together. As it turns out, the two head stocks align so that you can see the Fender.
