Lonesome Town

One of my favourite artists from the late 50s / early 60s was Ricky Nelson and it was a bonus to have some great guitar solos by James Burton.

This one being a slower tune didn't have a guitar solo, but I found that Paul McCartney did record a version with a solo.

This is a mixture of both versions and I hope that you like it.

We've recently started singing this song in our gigs but I'd never thought of giving it a Shadows feel. Works well, Roger!

A really nice track. It works so well as an Instro.
Lovely Strat tone and a super BT too.
Loved the Bridge solo too. :)

Very nice Roger. My sister had this on a Rick Nelson EP all those years ago and I always liked the tune.
