The top boost channel on my VOX AC30CC1 is not working. Can anyone recommend a good tech. in the Derby area who undertakes this type of repair?
Thanks, in advance
Tony

If the circuit diagram I'm looking at is the correct one, it shouldn't be a long or difficult job - there's very little to go wrong with that part of it.
You might like to try a squirt of contact cleaner down ALL the input jacks and operate the channel link switch several times for starters and see if that helps.
Cheers,
Pete

Delighted to report that the amp is now in tip top condition with a very minor repair.
Thank you Peter!

You are most welcome my good man
Strangely enough I had one of its big brothers in the other day AC30CC2 with a duff rectifier valve and duff 1st preamp valve - most unusual!
Cheers,
Pete
