thanks guys, just thought to share with you, as you can hear things still not quite up to speed ( the echo or my playing i hear you say ! lol ! ) but we,re getting there, this has had to be a sensitive no rushing resto, no quick fixes here, as obviously wishing to retain as much of its originality as is possible, i am pleased the way its all going though, imagine some additional eq / compression etc , this is just off the phone,

having been asked a couple of things about the guitar i am playing in the clip,
the strings are 13-56 pyramid true vintage flatwound on a round core
pickups are slider 59s
pick is genuine tortoiseshell
amp is a 1961 pre loc ac30

Hi Gary,
yes i did have the echo vol slightly lower, plus as i said the machine still requires further attention, i will say though almost everybody including myself in the past , plays with to much echo when in comparison to the records, the clip is just off the phone so somewhat inferior to hearing it in front of you, as much as i could have set the echo level slightly higher , you have to think even at this lower setting how much the addition of eq and compression would lift everything again, so its probably not far off the mark , tone is good though
