Tolo - 'Kaleidoscope'

Postby tolo » 18 Feb 2017, 19:06

Hello everyone - please find the latest original track from me - called 'Kaleidoscope' - about how life colors can quickly twist and turn depending on how you look at things...

I hope you enjoy this one - a more palatable 5:32!

Just love it.
I so admire these soundscapes that you come up with Tony, I wish I could do things like this.
Full of ideas, so subtle.
The ending - original.
Fantastic.

Well I must admit I was horrified when I looked at the file and realised it lasted for over 5 minutes - but the time just flew by!

It reminded me of some of the more atmospheric pieces Andy Latimer used to do with Camel (one of my favourite guitarists and bands) and is in my opinion the sort of thing the Shadows should be doing now if they were still going!

I suspect I shall be listening to this one a lot.

Thanks a lot Steve - I am glad you enjoyed it!

Fresh ears and a new mix. Actually the only things I didn't change in the end were the guitars (!) - but everything else got a tweak...

Basically, bloody brilliant! I could go on and on about this, but it would all be in pretty much the same vein.

Superb production too....
