I'm really pleased for Jet - You could say he was to bass playing what Hank was to guitar playing - Young, talented, imaginative and innovative - firstly on 4 string bass then on 6 string bass! Very influential to me, and right up there on my of heroes!

Brilliant news! Congratulations, Jet.

Just noticed, on the news, that Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt of the Quo have been made OBEs - but no mention of Jet. Surely his achievements are equal if not greater, when you think about it. Hopefully his honour will be covered in the press and I'd like to think that this will bode well for the release of a book at sometime in the near future.
