The usual 1 week reminder that the next North Notts meeting will take place on Sunday 20th December
at the usual venue. Details can be found over on the Notts club page along with next year's meeting dates.

Once again we are pleased to announce that there are sufficient funds left in this year's kitty to give everyone free admission for this meeting

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support over the last year and we wish all of you
a Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year.

It's been "in the diary" for ages, but I'm having to give it a miss, I'm afraid.
Marg 'n me have been under the weather for a week or so with coughs & colds, and - although NHS-Direct tell us it's NOT "Swine Flu" - still feel pretty groggy.
Have a GREAT afternoon at Whitwell, and I look forward to seeing you again in the New Year.

Many thanks to all of you who turned out today and were caught out by the unexpected blizzard at Whitwell.

I hope everyone enjoyed the meeting despite my descision to cut it somewhat shorter than usual; it seems that it was a good call to do so!

Many thanks to you (your supporting crew - the "gang" and your wife "R Lass") for your hard work throughout 2009 in providing us with a venue
and the hardware (plus excellent value snacks!) where we can play the instrumental music we thoroughly enjoy and meet people from all walks of life with the same interest.
It's not just the music but a very social and friendly event, as well.
I was pleasantly surprised at the number of people who turned up today even though the weather was particularly inclement- again a testament to the enthusiasm of the club members.
Looking forward to the 2010 meetings at North Notts.
