John Farrar Honoured in LA

At this years G'Day USA Gala in Los Angeles John Farrar was presented with an award for outstanding contribution to the arts and for his songs for the Grease movie which was released 40 years ago.

A thoroughly deserved award for a superb musician & songwriter. His work with the Shadows and MWF are well known, but his production and musicianship on Olivia NJ's albums was immense as well as many others. Congrats John!

John was one third and one quarter respectively of the group(s) that produced my favourite albums of all time.
An incredibly talented man who deserves every bit of recognition that he gets - and much more besides.
