Problems with the site

I still get emails from time to time telling me about problems with logging in or posting but without any details about the problem, or the senders username or other details. Unless I know who is having a problem, exactly what that problem is and can reproduce it I have no chance of advising or fixing it.

Sometimes I get quite abusive emails about a problem that is unique to the sender and the sender is effectively anonymous. I simply delete these unactioned.

According to some it is my fault if they forget their usernames or passwords. Others complain they are having trouble posting who haven’t logged on for years!

If I appear to ignore an email it is probably because it references a user error and it contains nothing to help me identify the problem. If you’re going to ask for support by email at least let me know who you are.

Me neither Bob, I’ll guarantee it’s ‘pilot error’ 99% of the time.
