A number of years ago (8-9??) Hank had a tour of Britain all arranged with his Gypsy Jazz, but it got cancelled. Why? Possibly the promoters were worried not enough people would want to come and see Hank once they realised it wasn't the Fender Strat and 'Shads'-type music. It seemed reminiscent of Bruce's 'talk and play' tour which he cancelled in the early 90s - because he was worried about houses not full to capacity! (Although he did do a few gigs a few years later with his Moonlight Shadows - I went to see them in Leamington Spa).
Does anyone know if Hank is planning another solo album? It would be great if they got together again but...none of us is getting any younger!
