Leave My Woman Alone

This is one Shadows track that eludes me,as far as i know it is on a Ra rites CD Everything of Value. I would like some information about such as recording date and where it was recorded and why it was not released ,this could be the last track I have not got from the EMI years on CD.

Recorded 17th November 1965 & 7th January 1966

Abbey Road - Studio 2

Brian Bennett - Drums, percussion, tambourine
Hank Marvin - Vocals, Guita
John Rostill - backing vocals, bass
Bruce Welch - backing vocals, rhythm guitar

Produced By - Norrie Paramor
Engineer - unknown

Recorded for the album Shadow Music but didn't make the final cut.

Mono recording never released but stereo released on Everything of Value in March 1993.

Sorry forgot to add:

It is possible that it was not released at the time over concerns that they would be seen to be aping the Merseybeat sound and doing nothing spectacular (even though they do).

"Leave My Woman Alone" was indeed released as one of the B-sides of Cliff & Hank's "The Joy Of Living", but only features Cliff.
