Recently bought this off ebay.

To be honest, my current insanity led me to buy it simply because it had a photo of Hank in its accompanying leaflet that I hadn't seen before! I tried to play a couple of the cassettes, but they were a bit wonky after all these years! The set is quite nice to look at, but just for one photo it was a slightly mad purchase. Looks like the photo in question was probably taken in 1973 or 1974. Oh, and they've printed it the wrong way round! Anyway, here it is...

Here's the whole set, with the pic of Hank on the back of the four page leaflet.

I think the back-to-front photo of Hank with the Barrett's blonde Strat was taken in 1975. It was used to illustrate an interview with Hank published in the February 1976 edition of "International Musician" (the UK version).

In that interview, he spoke about that Strat, his swap back to Fender from the Burns guitars and his recent use of "little Fender reverb amps" in the studio. Hank also discussed his continuing love for the sound of the Vox AC30, John Farrar's (then-impending in late 1975) departure for the USA along with ON-J and how the future of The Shadows was uncertain because of John's move. Hank also mentioned how his religion had an effect on his sense of the future.
