Was going through some old radio recordings recently and came across a radio 2 programme about the shadows.
It runs about an hour ... not sure of the date of the recording.
If anyone Is interested in hearing it I can post it the sound files section.
I will have to reduce it to MP3 format as it will be quite a large wav one.

This might be the Radio 2 programme "Me And My Shadows", broadcast Saturday 17th January 1998, linked by Cliff Richard and with contributions by Hank, Bruce, Jet, Tony, Brian and Ian Samwell.

Programme length: 57:17.

Re. possible date for this recording.
I always top and tale recordings by a few minutes at each end.
Caught the news bulletin reporting on David Camerons cabinet reshuffle and Elli Simmons gold medal at paralympics.
So that would place the broadcast around the 12 sept. 2016.
The programme was titled "Out of The Shadows" and ran for just under an hour

Hmmm... I don't recall that one at all, John (though I have lots of interview and documentary audio recordings).

I'd love to get a copy!

Presented by Richard Hawley, it was first broadcast on 3rd September 2012, starting with a clip of Foot Tapper and George Harrison's quote 'No Shadows, no Beatles.'

I’ve had a trawl of the BBC Sounds site and cannot find the programme(s) mentioned above. Maybe they’ll put them back there one day?

I did find The Thing About Hank, though, and that’s worth a listen if you haven’t heard it recently. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/b015n6wd

Hope this helps - Iain
