Hi Friends,

there are so many Shadows videos on youtube . But most of them only show the most popular tunes like Apache, Kontiki , Theme for young lovers.

So I decided to open a Youtube-channel called “shadowsrarities” where I collected some of the lesser known and lesser represented tunes by The Shadows such as e.g. Jigsaw, Slaughter on 10th avenue, Maroc 7, The Warlord, etc.,

Just have a look at it if you want.

I strongly urge you all to take a look at Ernst's postings. I feel that it is very important to show that there is more to the Shadows than the usual tunes that come up. If you listen to British radio or watch the TV, on the very limited times that The Shadows are played we normally hear Apache or Foot Tapper. It is hard to believe that there are at least another 570 tracks that could be used. Ernst has done a fantastic job of bringing the lesser known tracks to our attention and deserves a hearing. It's also hard to believe that he doesn't read Music or use Tabs !
