Hi folks. Having spoken to the Hodthorpe Club secretary yesterday, they are of the opinion that our next club meeting on 19th December can go ahead as usual.
This is good news of course.
However, owing to the state of the nation and a government that likes to change things with little or no warning, I urge you to keep an eye on this thread right up to the 19th to make sure things will still go ahead.
So as usual masks and other items of PPE eg diving suits and snorkels etc are at the wearer's discretion.....................

All the usual attractions such as me in my Spandex Santa outfit, R, Lass's cake stall etc will be there.
So let's finish this year off with a great afternoon of music and comradery
But for those who can't attend may we wish one and all a safe and peaceful Christmas.

Have a good one Pete and pass on our Christmas wishes to all the gang at North Notts. As you know this date always clashes with the York Christmas bash and it is their turn to suffer a Creasey visit this year.

Mmmmmmm that is a mental image I really wish I could un see. but with counselling and an intensive drug regime I am hoping to be able to get at least one night's sleep before Christmas

I saw our mutual friend Mr RH and succumbed (no will power) to buying another guitar from him. It's got two pick - ups, an unusual single coil and a P90. Excellent sound - somewhat punchier than 3 single coils. I'll bring it with me for your perusal.

So sorry I couldn;'t be there guys, Unfortunately my health is such that I can't travel any distances as I am on oxygen 24/7
