Sorry all but please ignore everything I've written below as I've been contacted by Hodthorpe Club informing me that owing to a mistake on their part (double booking the room), our club meeting cannot now go ahead.
I have just spent the last 3 hours ringing round for an alternative last minute venue for us but as you would expect at Christmas, everywhere is fully booked.

Again, I'm really sorry about this folks but I've tried my best.

The next meeting then will be:
SUNDAY 18th FEBRUARY 2024

Hi folks, here's your usual 1 week reminder for the next Notts club meeting.

Yes, it's that time of year again so how about joining us for the final meeting of 2023?

So dig out your Santa suits and those corny jumpers with the reindeer on them and come play some festive Shads music with us.

For those who can't come along we would like to wish you all the best for Xmas and the New Year and hope to see you in 2024.

Very sorry to hear about this. I suspect "our lass" has taking a lot of time and effort to make her splendid cuisine at cost price to attendees. Needless to say you will be eating accordingly. Hopefully see you at the next meeting (February?). I'm still very interested in us doing the session on my compositions. Just need a good drummer - if anyone is interested? Take care.

The next one will be February 18th Tony and we can have a chat about resuming the session then if you wish.

Fortunately, she hadn't yet started the catering!
