OT: STOLEN PHONE - PLEASE READ

Hi all...

My mobile phone was stolen at around 00:30am this morning. The Police and my phone supplier are aware of the theft and I have all the information I need to follow up this enquiry. If anyone wishes to call me over the next few days, please call my landline home number, as advertized on both my website and the Shadowers'. I will create a new thread as soon as my usual mobile number has been rerouted to a new phone. Thankfully my phone was insured, but I expect that I have lost a lot of numbers.

Tonight's events have taught me never to trust ANYONE.

Mobile phones are quite small items and are easily lost or stolen and sometimes breakdown so it's best to down load all your contacts and other information onto your computer so it can be uploaded onto another phone if needed.

I'm surprised at the number of people who don't bother to do this and then regret not doing it.

It was an iPhone, Barry, so I may actually have nearly all of my contacts after all, with the exception of any contacts that I added since the last time I "synched" it with my computer. Now I just have to put up with the inconvenience of going without a phone until the insurance claim is accepted.
