That's really nice see - I must admit the first 3 albums (which includes 'Dance with') are my absolute favs.

Gibson missed a trick there... they could have mentioned the J-200 used on so many of the tracks.

a great album - I was actually listening to it in the car this morning. I have a number of 'favourites' on this album - Fandango is just class! I found it quite hard to get into this album (and sound of the shadows) when I first heard them about 20 years ago - but now they're both among my favourites. the sound, and choice of material had moved on quite a bit from 1962...I'm interested in how this album went down at the time, given this change - and also the advent of the 'beat groups'?

I remember a few years ago i went to buy this on CD to replace my old vinyl copy and was almost laughed out of HMV! The guy serving actually asked me'Are you going to actually listen to this?' I said i was and he said 'you're sad!'. I couldn't believe his rudeness, i grabbed the bag of him and walked out the shop! That's never hapenned to me before, what someone buys in a record shop is their business.

You should have seen the face on the proprietor of a secondhand record dealer in Sittingbourne when I selected a Des O'Connor LP from his bargain bin (at £1).

It was the one produced by and featuring one Hank B Marvin.
