Hi all
new member here based in bonnie scotland. couldnt help noticing there are no clubs up here. anyone interested in starting one? im based near edinburgh and there seems to be very little interest up here from a players point of view, yet i find the Shad's stuff always goes down well up here. pubs, clubs, party's... it seems people of all ages up her love listening to the Shad's music so im guessing there must be others like me? anyone interested?

There a few of us in the glasgow area, and this idea was floated about 2 years ago but didnt meet with much interest.

ah well, if not a club maybe a get together and bash out a few numbers some time?

The problem with Scottish members has always been finding a venue and choosing a day. Some of us have wrestled unsuccessfully with this for a number of years...

That said, there are a few of us in the West of the central Belt, and there's Malc and Tam (from Edinburgh, but we still let them speak to us...)

Lol nice to hear from you guys. so you let the Edinburgh folk join in eh.... how about the imports? I'm an english guy living in Kirkliston, although ive been in Scotland now for over 17 years, love the place, love the people and love the laid back way of life up here. Hope to hook up with some of you guys in the near future. I play in Glasgow quite often

The EH folk don't need the permission of the mob from the wild west to join in but we like to let them think that they're in charge Ian.

The Scottish membership on this site does seem to be a little lopsided though. Around 4 from Glasgow and surrounding are and 2, now 3 from Edinburgh. Those figures are taken from those who post on the forums. I am sure we must reach double figures over the whole country.

I can think of at least 2 or 3 more in this neck of the woods who don't post on Shadow Music.
