I have mixed feelings about youtube - on the one hand I love the opportunity to see the gig footage - and it is pretty good footage - on the other hand I recognize it's a copyright infringement and the clips may be short lived because of that. I see it as even more of an enticement for me to buy the DVD (which I was planning on doing anyway).

Anyway here are some more - glad you're all enjoying them. I won't get a chance to see any concerts, so this is fabulous for me.

Yes, it is brilliant, but what I really don't understand is why Hank keeps playing everything with the bridge pickup... Sleepwalk, Peace Pipe. . . everything! :? Sleepwalk sounds so much better with the middle pickup.

Technically, you're likely correct about copyright infringement BUT, that said, I think U toob is a BOON to anyone selling vids or CDs. Being stateside, I would have NEVER discovered any of the LIVE shads stuff w/o U toob. As a result I've spent over $200 in DVD and Cds. Additionally, I've likely caused an additional $500+ in sales to friends. Thanks for posting these vids. They're great.

Also, I think is good to have these vids for reference to compare with the DVD to see if anything is changed/missing. :o

I hope the makers of the DVD will issue it region free (almost have to considering the tour will cover a variety of DVD regions) to expand saleability. Eagle Rock was smart enough to do that.

I also think they should add a couple Canadian dates. If the Ventures can fill 5000 seats on serveral Canadian dates, I'm sure "the boys" could easily do likewise.

I'm sure is more a matter of the time/trouble for them.

Eggsellent version of the classic Sleepwalk. Hank is "on fire" and tempo is a little faster than previous versions. I think this is great because sometimes it drags a little. I'd actually enjoy seeing U toob vids of this from forthcoming concerts just to enjoy Hank improvising. As Benny Hill always said: "learning, learning, learning all the time."

Hi Boing
greetings from our holiday in warm and sunny Somerset!!
I think Hanks guitar is set on Bridge all the time because there is some kind of electronic trickery goes on in the wings to change pickups, echoes, tone etc etc.
Maybe those in the know can enlighten us.
Now back to the sun lounger for me!!!
cheers
Ian

It's shame that they don't do it then, because it sounds the same on every number. . . . . . . .
And folks are slagging off David Martin's sound, I give in. Tin hat in place. :)
