Not the boots.................

Phil, on this site you have the most serious "Anoraks" who can tell you what make Hank's underpants were whilst playing
"Dance On" when the Shadows appeared at "Sunday night at the London Palladium" in 1963. ( "It was 64 Hank" ).

You have the "Lurkers" who come out every now and again to keep the rest of us in check. "Now then, now then,
you 'orrible little contributors, that thread doesn't belong 'ere does it? Move it now or I'm taking my ball 'ome"

You have the "Defenders of the moral stance". "Please sir, please sir, Ecca said BUGGER sir".

And of course you have those of us who, from time to time, try desperately to put a smile on someone's face.
For the most part, without success I grant you, but nevertheless, like Chumbawumba, "You knock me down but
I get up again".

I feel that whatever category one may fall into there is nobody here who does not wish you a speedy recovery and the best of
health in the future.

Cheers, Alan.

Why the shock, remember how Jet was treated regarding the Reunion tour?
Get well soon Phil, your talent has played a huge part in keeping the Shadows name going when it appeared that it was all over.
Remember that Bruce Welch is a showman, a perfectionist who suffered for his desire to always get it 100% perfect, maybe he doesn't allow emotions to get in his way.
