Thanks Malc, coming from you I take that as a real compliment. We work very hard and long at it, as you obviously do too. I've put your WTMSD up on the Sydney Shadow Music website (http://www.thesydneyshadowsclub.proboards.com/) yesterday as "Song of the Month" - once the punters have had a guess or two I'll put up the details of where to get your CD.

Our plans are starting to gather apace now for our UK/Euro tour in 2010, Edinburgh is definitely on the itinerary this time as George's wife Anna will be with us and she was born in Edinburgh and wants to visit some rellies there.

Looking fwd to meeting up with you - we'll have all our music gear with us so some jamming and perhaps a gig or two could be on the cards ??

Glad I found this - I really like your BT of Nine Million Bicycles - Heard it a while back and saved it at the time. I have just ordered it from your website. Would it be OK if I use your BT to make a YouTube video for my website http://www.philmcgarrick.co.uk - I would of course give links to your website where anyone who wants the BT can buy it online. It's a track that I want to record sometime in the future and you have done a SUPERB job on this one and would save my son Andrew hours of time making it for me. Thanks for your comments and for buying the BT from OzzieTrax which was sent to you today.

It took me a long time to make this BT (spread over several months work), the Chinese gong sounds, for example, required a lot of PRN and NPRN codes into the midi file, and there were a lot of other tweaks on the midi instruments to get it all sounding "right". (I got some initial ideas from the James Bond movie sound track You Only Live Twice). George Lewis then overdubbed his lead guitar track and after a lot of rearranging and editing we ended up with a final recording.

We actually produced this recording without ever actually playing it together, it was all done over the internet. Now of course we play it at gigs, and achieve exactly the same sound live as the recording.

When one thinks about the hundreds of hours work that we put in on this it's an amazingly cheap BT at only GBP2.00. As you would know, being a BT maker and CD producer yourself, unless it gets radio/national coverage it won't ever make us rich as it's the creator of the song, Mike Batt, who gets the royalties, not us. Having said that, we've already sold out three shipments of our HAMMERHEAD CD at Leos' Den this year.

Anyway, the BT is for non-commercial use only. I'm happy for you to do a video for your website provided you give the appropriate credit for the BT and lead guitarist and a link to the OzzieTrax website at http://www.turningpointcd.com from where it can be purchased.

Perhaps you could email me the Youtube link when you've done it.

I bit like the re-united album where you two don't meet up in person - all done via the internet.!

Dying to get started on it. I must say it's excellent value concidering how much hard work goes into making a track like that.
