DAKOTA - ALTERNATIVE VERSION

This was once a lovely melodic ballad by Bob Allen in memory of the Douglas DC3 aircraft – Dakota or Gooney Bird aircraft. Recorded by The Shads in 1963 it has been in Licorice's Repertoire ever since, now as a harmonica piece – and rightly so – its a great tune.
However comma, here is my alternative version in Swing Rock time.
Those who frequent Hankies or the Warwick and Congleton Clubs etc may have heard me do this Live, so apologies for inflicting it on you again.
Get your Rockin' shoes on!
Love it or hate it.

Hi Ian,
I clicked onto your link, but there was nothing playing, it would not let me press play and was saying 00.00 on both sides of the 'play' bar. Just thought i'd let you know if you haven't looked at it.
Cheers
Ryan

Hi Ryan
I've clicked the link both on my android and PC and both play ok. I did have to wait a bit on android until it buffered up though.
Try a reboot?
Cheers

Cheers for that Ian, it worked this time
If ever there was a t.v programme called 'Top Shads Guitars' and not 'Top Gear', this would have to be the theme tune.
Great stuff, keep it coming.

Hi Ian
Another fine piece of work. You're becoming the master of alternative arrangements of well-known tunes, breathing new life into them -well done.

This is one of those tunes that is so melodic and atmospheric that we all tend to forget about, it sparked a certain era in my mind of the Shads progress in sound. Great playing and, above all, perfect timing and playing. Super sound from your Strat and set-up. What's the echo? Great job!
