Hi all,
These are my latest recordings, Atlantis and Apache on my Burns Shadows Marvin Custom Signature guitar, through a Danecho DE-1 footpedal and a Roland cube amp using the reverb. Backing Track is UB Hank and was recorded into a Tascam 4 track.
I am fairly happy with them but, they don't seem to have the sound quality that many of you achieve on your recordings. (I'm not just on about my playing), but the overall sound, this is about as good as i can get them on the Tascam 4 track i've got.
I'd like to know what anybody thinks, good or bad, all comments appreciated.

Hi Ryan, had a listen and I can hear you overdoing the trem, but it's something that we've all been guilty of at one time or another. Recording wise, the mix was a little guitar heavy on each, but with practice you'll get better at it in time. Just keep at it and listen to the records to pick out all the nuances and in time you'll feel it the way Hank does. You're going the right way though. I thought you might have tried the Zoom G3x, or did you do these before you had it?

A little tip on the guitar sound. If you are using EQ on the Tascam recorder, take the bass out a little, boost the mid and cut the high treble. You should get closer the tone by doing that.

No i didn't already have them recorded, it was just something quick i did yesterday afternoon, using this pedal just to see what sort of sound i could get from it. I posted it just to see what other people thought of it. I used the same set-up, apart from changing the echo on 'Apache' and 'I'll never find another you'.
As for on the Tascam i've got (it's a very basic starter 1), it doesn't have bass, mid and high treble for me to adjust. The backing track is going from the ipod (i used the bass and treble on the ipod) through the auxillary, into the Roland Cube, the guitar went through the Danecho DE-1 footpedal and then into the Roland. This then went from the earphone record out socket into the Tascam recorder.
Because it's all going through the earphone/record out on the amp, i have to use earphones to listen to what's going on from the earphones socket on the Tascam. This is a problem as i hate wearing earphones whilst trying to record anything it always sounds different after i've recorded it
Thank you very much for looking at it again, your comments and feedback are always appreciated. Next time i record anything, it will be on the zoom g3x. The reason i used the danecho was because when i listened to the patches you sent me for the G3x, it kicked something in my head as to how use the different settings. It made me want to go back and experiment on this little pedal to see if i could get a sound i liked. I didn't really accomplish this, and although it's nowhere near i enjoyed having a go.
