Zoom G3X demo

There's no doubt in my mind that the Zoom G3x is a superb piece of kit and I enjoyed my time playing with it and making patches, but on stage I have reverted back to my Vox Tonelab LE . Why ? Because it is a little more versatile for my needs.
I have done as much as I want to do with it now, as our shows are requiring more rehearsal and attention and I won't be doing any more programming, or offering any more patches as I feel we have covered everyone's needs at this point.
To those hundred or so people that have my patches, I hope you enjoy them and that by looking at the way they are made up you are able to get an understanding of how things work. That was the purpose of it all and you can move on from there. :)

Because I couldn't erase Hank off the recorded version, I made a quick BT of my own and recorded Happy Birthday on the Zoom G3X, quite pleased with it and it might be close enough for some. :)

I posted on Sound Cloud and that seems to work - I'm still confused . . . . . :?

Sounds great for a unit costing circa £100 plus your programming skills. ;)

Thank for checking it out, I posted a remix with a slightly more edgy guitar sound. :)

I was listening to The Shads version of this and having heard the Hall & Collin's track I'll be interested to compare the sound when I get my one. Charlie has got it very close and he has said that he wouldn't have attempted to do that particular track using any EFTP device. That said I doubt that most punters wouldn't 'get' the subtle differences in sound as some of we guitarists do. I do believe though, that the Zoom G3x has more parameters to tweak to enable us to get closer than ever before, which considering the price is amazing. :)
Regarding my Etap2hw, it gets close also, but if only there was a control to allow bringing 'leaked' feedback from all the other heads - it would be perfection.
