Hello folks,

Finished track - ready for mastering. Lots of changes with the mix / arrangement / performance since the 'in progress' file was posted - I hope you enjoy 'Metropolis'.

Best to all,

Tony

Hi Tony
This is superb - so well balanced and those low notes have my speakers rockin'.
As always I love the light and shade in your compos and playing style. The "voices" in the background are almost becoming a trademark. I can see a city waking up and getting into gear and then the evening calm.
You say - "ready for mastering". Sounds pretty professionally mastered to me, mate.
A brilliant Listen.
cheers
Ian

Gentlemen - thanks a million.

Gary - yes, #2 on the way - 5 songs finished. Another 3 on the go... I have been asked if I would be including one of the only two Shadows' covers I did a while ago too - but we will see on that one.

Ian - hope all good... Thanks for your kind words again... If I blow your cones - then I would have won! You got the inspiration bang on - I drive to work as the sun comes up and the Joburg skyline is on the horizon. You are famous for your holidays - why not come down here (and bring your guitar...?) I mix on headphones - so for me the real sonic quality, stereo width and production comes on 'phones... Lots of little hidden things in there...

Dave - thanks - glad you enjoyed it. I loved your Apache cover and wish I could get attack like that... I like honesty in music - and in people

Ecca - this is the edited version - the full version (we used to call them 12") is two hours short of a week.... ;) - I would hate to disappoint you...

Keep up the great work chaps,

Tony
