Exelent playing Dave. The patch you made is certainly pretty much spot on IMO.
Great stuff. Thanks for posting.

Cheers

It's the sound of the whole thing against the original that pleases me most, and for so little effort. This is the only machine I have possessed that ever afforded me this result, the G3x is a gem. ;)

Yes it is the sound Dave. Little effort if you know what your doing. Having been able to see how it's done I am beginning to understand and I'm having fun experimenting. I would really like to get the sound for One Moment In Time, not everyone's cup of tea I know but I like it.

Cheers

They key, apart from the echo, is the tone setting of the guitar. I have in the past been guilty of going too harsh (trebly) but listening to the record did it for me. It does give the impression that it's got a lot of treble, but it hasn't, it's bass removed. I'm pleased you're having fun, that's what it's about. :)

A delightful festival of Apache's is blooming accross the Shadows music spectrum!

First Paul Rossiter and now Dave Robinson with the G3X.
Both really translate the Abbey Road ambiance in an excellent way.

Bravo Dave!

Blessings,
Abel

Thanks Abel, I really am beginning to wonder if all the expense is necessary when choosing an echo, you can buy the G3x for £115 and the G3 (no pedal) for £79.
Remember, this was plug and play, no spending hours setting it up trying to get a match to the record. The important thing is to listen to the original record and get the sound into your head, instead of thinking you remember how it sounded - my greatest fault. :)

Sounds great- I've had two G3s and think they are very versatile especially for the price.

Dave, I think they are very wise words. Listen to the record and don,t think you know the sound. This is true regarding the format of songs etc.

That is a great sound, really nice.

That's a great price for a Zoom G3, £79! Who's selling them for that then Dave? The best I can see is £95 from GAK.
