I'd got my shorts on when I played it.

Very nice Ecca - I must admit to expecting an attack of fanatical extreme distortion after a super 1st verse but thank goodness it never came.

Good tone just on the edge of breakup.

I like this very much Ecca. Great sound and great playing.
Like a few of your other numbers, there is a lap steel feel to it which I like. Reminds me a bit of Wout Steenhuis in a way!
Incidentally, do you still play lap steel? I seem to remember you playing one some years ago.

Thanks all.
I do still have the Gretsch lap steel which is popped into things for effect now and again.
I've just constructed another fretless strat and it was my intent to use it on this but it sounded nice as it was so I didn't bother.
I don't believe in spending money on guitars. ( unless they're Gibsons )
The guitar used was yet another strat I put together straight into the PC , Adobe Audition and Amplitube.
It was done for a pal on Facebook who also sent me the BT.
No echo, no distortion, a little bit of reverb, I tried to get it ' just on the edge' as wonderfully described by Rog Allcock.
Yep, Jeff Beck is a long standing hero, no apologies there, he can't help but come out in me somewhere.
Thanks again for listening, I don't expect much response these days.
Cheers,
Ec

Beautiful old pal. I've just been listening to this whilst I open my birthday cards and count my money. :D

Always good to feel the love that goes into your music.

Cheers, Alan.

Very enjoyable ET. I remember learning Moonriver as one of my first tunes in 1973 fingerstyle when I was given it to do by my then guitar tutor err whatshisname.

Shall we have it on Tuesdays would be nice ? ;)
