Here is The Echotappers version of "Rocket Man". It was a small hit in UK 1962 with The Spotnicks. I think The Krew Cats called it "Samovar".

The Krew Kats did do a version of this and it was indeed called Samovar.
It had a different middle 8 though because the original being a Russian folk song wouldn't have had one, so both bands added one!

It's long been an ambition of mine to create a new version of this that includes BOTH middle 8s.
