I've always loved the Spotnicks' rendition of this Frank Ifield tune, his original vocal version (I Listen To My Heart) issued as the B-side of I Remember You in 1962. I assume the A-side was a hit in Sweden (as well as in the UK) back then, which would explain how the group came to discover it in the first place.

I'm sure I've heard someone paying an instrumental version of I Remember You, but I just tried to find it and couldn't!

I love this tune too, and you played it perfectly.

I remember visiting your city Pitea many years ago and was reminded of it recently when the Pitea IF goalkeeper collapsed on the football field. I recollect that the town was very sporting and had a strong culture of music. Perhaps one day I can visit again and come and meet you.
