Latest recording of an old favourite by The Shadows from 1962, Wonderful Land, and also "Midnight" using my ESE Echomatic 6SE which has had the head spacings altered as per the arrangement of the Meazzi echo.... Hope you like them
Regards,
Jim

Hi Jim
You seem to have have found that magic spot when using your ESE Echomatic 6SE......
and of course not forgetting the most important attributes and that is your playing style
and recording techniques all of which enabled you to create these outstandingly good
quality versions of "Midnight" and "Wonderful Land"
Regards
Pete

Hi Jim,
nice playing and sound from you as always, hope you dont mind me saying this but i dont know who modded your ese but the 4 head trip appears incorrect , dont know if its spacings ? or the levels ? or maybe a bit of both, as i say its a polite observation
regards,
Phil.

Thanks all, Phil, Amanda Hambidge did the mod, long before I owned the machine, so I am pretty confident it has been done correctly, Maybe the settings are a little off, although it sounds ok to my ears. Do you know the correct head seiection and settings? Thanks,
Regards,
Jim

First things first Jimbo. "Very Old Person". Have you suddenly become P.C.?
Anyway, I've said it before and I'll say it again. Splendid sound mate. Wonderful Land.....Nailed.
It matters not what gear you use, you will always sound this good due to the simple fact that
the skill is in your fingers. Your phrasing, timing, technique, call it what you will, is there.
Listening to you play is always a pleasure, recorded or live.
Just keep doing what you're doing.
Cheers, Alan.
