Hi,
I hope you like my sound and playing of this great song written by Lennart Clerwall. Hall and Collins Signature Echo with Vox Long Tom patches sounds really very nice.
Regards,
Ove

A good guitar sound Ove but to my ears there is too much echo.

Hi Roger,
Many thanks for your comments. The original recorded by 1961 with Ronnie Gustafsson on sologuitar have also very much echo on that one.
Best Regards,
Ove

Not too much echo for me, I like it this way (I have the original recording on CD by "1961").

Hi Freddy and Uncle Fiesta,
Many thanks for your comments. For this recording, I have used extra much of the "singing" sound of the Vox Long Tom echo just as it is on the original recording with Ronnie Gustafsson from 1981.
Best Regards,
Ove

I also have the recording of "Mexican Bodega" by the group 1961 and I do not hear as much echo in Ronnie Gustafsson's sound Ove.
I did enjoy your version and my thoughts regarding the echo level are not intended as a criticism but just a personal viewpoint. I notice that there are comments on your thread on Charlie Hall's site which have the same opinion.

Hi again Roger,
Many thanks for your friendly and valuable comments. I know that your comments is not to criticism but only as you say a personal viewpoint. Here you have the comment from Charlie from his site to my echo setting on that one and I agree with him that I must be more careful with the settings to my next recording.
Best Regards,
Ove
Charlies comments: I don't think there too much echo, but it does sound like there is too much attack reaching the echo part of the signal a lot of the time, causing the echo to pump a bounce quite a lot. This can be reduced by increasing the Echo drive (more echo compression), and reducing the Echo level to achieve the requierd amount.
