“The Lonely Bull” - Live

Hi all,

I wanted first to do it with the Roland Guitar Synth using the Trumpet patch and then changed my mine and did it the Shadows style and played it in double stops.

since I found the backing track from the original.

I bought a new CD changer from the ... swap meet on Saturday ($10) but it has misses, it skips and behave weirdly.
At the end, I look puzzled as it skipped and then went back.
I had to play it at least 5 times as it did it every time in the middle of the song. The last one was acceptable I thought.

I thought the sound was not bad.
I hope you like it.

Blessings,
Abel

Very good Abel - it's bad enough playing to a backing track when you know that it will play reliably.

Abel,

That's another great recording from you. I've left most of my compliments on the other forum for you.

Hi all,

Glad you liked it. There are so many excellent versions of this tune in this forum.
The Paul Rossiter's trio version from Australia is simply brilliant.
I am surprised that the postings of a young man named "Rjanuarsa" (I hope I got his name right) from Australia are not present here.
If you are looking for the playing and sound of the early Shadows, I believe it's the most authentic.
I found his postings on Charlie Hall's forum.

I too enjoyed doing this tune with my Mexican (won) strat though.

Blessings,
Abel
