Great stuff Ove apart from the Spotnicks I was not aware of other Scandinavian groups ,a pity we had too many of our own ,were these groups inspired by The Shadows same line up and guitar instrumentals.

The Spotnicks recorded the same tune under the title "The rocket man", it's a russian traditional tune.

There has been (and still are) many scandinavian guitar instrumental bands inspired by the Shadows and the Spotnicks.

Many thanks for your comments. The Spotnicks version is called The Rocket Man as Didier says. Its also called Cossack Patrol and as you also says a old Russian folk song.
