The Small Rebus Train (Rebus Express) is an interlude created by Maurice Brunot for the ORTF and first appeared on the screens on September 15, 1960 (40 films). In April 1963, he was replaced by the Little Train of Memory. Used impromptu by the ORTF to stall the direct, this interlude (a short film of about five minutes) presents several sequences of a traveling shot of a steam locomotive model and its set of wagons whose frontage is illustrated with a rebus element. At the end of the short film, the solution of the rebus is given when the train arrives at the station of the Solution. The music of the film is an interpretation by Marc Taynor and his motorized cowboys1 of the song Endlessly (1959) by Brook Benton and Clyde Otis
Good listening
