Guitar Instrumental (Another Original)

Had a lot of time when my dear wife was in rehab for some weeks:

Again it's no Shadows-sound, but it's fun to work with this Logic drummer. Unlike some others in my previous bands, he does not talk and drink too much. This time I played my Burns directly via audio interface into the DAW. I used only Logic effects for the lead track: noise gate, Swash compressor, Tape Delay, Amp Designer "Brit & Clean" with British 2x12 Cabinet, virtual mic "Ribbon 121" and Channel Eq.

That’s an intricate composition, Wolfgang. There’s a lot of atmosphere, unexpected harmonies and delicious sounds. It’s good!

That's a very clever piece of music Wolfgang. Intricately played, and lovely tones.

I do enjoy your originals.

Regards,

Len

Thanks for your kind comments (had to google what "intricate" means in German 8-) ).

Best regards - Wolfgang

I don’t know how accurate google translations are! I meant it as a compliment. There's a lot of detail, often pleasantly surprising.

Google translates "intricate" with "kompliziert" in German as well as "complicated". Thanks again for your compliment.

In fact the recording wasn't too complicated because besides the lead guitar all tracks are software instruments. The entire recording contains 12 tracks, of witch only two are audio tracks.
