This track is one of my favourite Shadows recordings played on the Burns. It has such a terrific flowing melody.

The backing track is from 'Casting a Shadow' and I used my Burns Anniversary.

Hi Roger,

Fabulous sound, you've really captured the Burns "singing string" sound, and great ballsy playing as well.

Hi Roger

Great playing and sound. This is probably the best version I have heard of this tune.

What Wah wah did you use?

It was perfect....Loved it...BRAVO

Thanks for the replies.

Spike, I used a DeArmond vol/tone pedal (model No 610). Volume is controlled in an up and down movement as with a normal volume pedal - the pedal also moves from side to side to change the tone.

Many refer to it as a wah wah but there is a definite difference.

Brilliant Roger ! It just doesn't get any better than this.
The Burns sounds great so does your control of the de-armond.
Another one to add to my RA folder.

Cheers Phil
