Finally on YouTube - Lonely Guitar

This is a song that we recorded in 1965. It is an rearranged version of an old Russian folk song called the Lonely Accordion, we call the song "Lonely Guitar." (I believe Hank does a song called Lonely Guitar; of course it is an entirely different song). Anyway, this was recorded at a Radio Belgrade studio in 1965 and we are using Italian made Eko guitars and a Hoffner bass, which you will see in the video. All are pictures of us from the 1964-66 period. I am the tallest one playing the candy looking Eko, fittingly called "Spaghetti" (in color it is red and pearly white, like peppermint candy - lovely - I am really sorry I sold it!). Did I say I play rhythm?

P.S. The "VIS" before our group's name stands for "Vocal-Instrumental-Group."

And thanks again Jimbo! Yes, they are wonderful memories, and it helps to have photos and things like this to help you remember.

Oh I do love a wallow in nostalgia, so thank you Bojan. :D
The images are great and the number is so evocative of that fantastic era.

Thanks Mikey . . . I love nostalgia too, and it's nice to have these old recordings and pictures.
