Dance On with new Kinman pickups.

We have been trying out some new pickups developed by Chris Kinman and Gary Taylor did this version of Dance On.
The pickups will shortly be released as the new Magnum Opus range and are the ‘54’s.
The rest of the chain was a TVS3 and clone Vox AC15.

Thanks for those nice comments guys.

It is a deceptively simple tune, but Hank's inimitable phrasing and touch, particularly in those intro/outro sections and the hammerons and pulloffs in the melody, makes it a tricky one to get close to the original.

Hi Spike,

Great authentic sound.

Would be interested to hear Ecca's response, that is if he still visits these boards !! :-)

Cheers,

Ian

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your time to comment on the new Kinman's demonstrated here. It appears Chris has done an amazing bit of research to get to this stage and I do applaud him for that.
He has added another dimension to our rig which is demonstrated on Dance On.

Cheers
Spike
