Another one of the (estimated) 1000 Apache versions. At Ian's tip, I downloaded a tape delay plugin yesterday. It emulates three tape heads that can be individually controlled. Many other parameters such as fluctuations in motor speed, tape wear etc. can also be varied. Stereo effects are possible for each sound head using panorama controls.

Clive, i got the plugin from Wavesfactory.com.
I tried to attach some screenshots of my settings, but the file selection button in the upload menue doesn't work.

For those using plugins i would very much recommend the Vintage Sounds VST plugin. I used it on my recent videos of Atlantis and Peacepipe and was blown away how close the sound was.
