MOONSHOT

This time a no-shads tune, though one of my favorites: Moon shot. I played and recorded the lead twice on 2 separate tracks (BOSS BR-8), resulting in a 'spacy' overall sound with a little reverb on the drums/BT track. BT from???

Great track - classic clean and punchy sixties sound and feel.
What's your guitar setup?

One of the best versions of this tune I've ever heard. Fantastic. I've downloaded it and it'll go onto my next compilation CD to keep me company on those long country car journeys. Thanks for posting this classic.

Thanks Tony and Martyn for your compliments. I had a lot of fun recording this tune, which is always on our set-list for the 60+Guitarband.(http://www.guitarband.nl) a dutch shadows tribute band. The name of the band says it all......
I just have an old Japan HBM Squier, with 57/62 p.u.'s fitted, tune played on my miked AC30 (1998), MS, recorded on a digital 8 track Boss recorder. Nothing special.
Regards
Ger
