LONESOME TOWN

Hi All, I thought I'd try something a bit different. I used a Fender Precision Bass for the lead and bass, and my 82 Strat. I fitted the Bass with DiMarzio PJ pickups and a set of these new fangled RotoSound Nexus black coated strings about six months ago and they're still sounding great. I used an old Yamaha SJ-400S for rhythm
The keyboards are standard Cubase plugins which I had to write as I cant play the thing. And the drums are Groove Agent
I hope you enjoy my attempt at the blues.

Hi Charles
Nearly missed this!! Just about to nip off in the caravan for a bit of Rain-bathing and just saw it! Phew!
Novel approach and superbly excecuted. Great tone and just enough trem on the P-Bass and that '2 - wow! Slighly mucky tone and great bridges!
Loved it!
cheers

Hi Charles,

That was another great sound file from you Charles. It certainly was different and I enjoyed hearing it. It has a nice bassy sound at the start and the distorted guitar later on in the piece sounds excellent too. You managed to obtain quite a nice fat sound with the Strat for the distorted section. Well done all round.

Regards,
Len
