Theme From Caravans - Mike Batt - ADVICE please

Hi All,
Here is a video of Tony Kiek and I/me ? (bl..dy English grammar ) playing Mike Batt's wonderful tune "Caravans" at the Perth Shadows club night in February this year where a few of the audience did some impromptu dancing. Some have complained that they didn't notice the dancers because of concentrating on the music.
Do we think video helps or hinders appreciation of the music ?

Come on all SM Pommies, England is long since out and now so is Germany .. and we can thank Holland for orange carrots so, let your hair down.
Regards
George
(PS The BT is available on the Ozzie Tracks website)

Hi Gary,
Thanks for taking a look ... as you probably know it was really just to show it was definitely a belly dancer and not a snake charmer.

Just for interest, private research suggests almost a 50/50 split between those who turn the video off and just listen and those who turn the sound down and just watch. OK, OK maybe the latter are in the majority. :D
Regards
George

Hi George
I didn't recognise you and Tony at first. You've changed so much!
I thought you both danced very well.

Hi all,

The backing track for Caravans is available to order at the OzzieTrax website at http://www.turningpointcd.com/page6.htm

If you order it I will send both the long and short versions of the BT for the inclusive price of GBP2.00. (see the Perth Shads site for the demos http://shadowsperth.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=soundfilesid), As it took me about 100 hours to make the BT, you can see that I am not doing this for profit, but for the love of the fabulous Shadows sound that George has achived brilliantly in his lead guitar track.

Almost finished working on the BT for Riders Of The Range ... it's never been done before except by the Shads as far as we know. Will keep you posted on this as soon as it's available.
