Hi, I too have a quadreverb. they are a nice piece of work aren't they! That was a lovely sound for a lovely song from a lovely player!

thanks again mate. it will be interesting to hear how my strat will sound once i have my new
pick ups installed im getting a set of toneriders the blues ones
then all ill need is a decent amp im just using a tranny fender frontman 25r but later on in the year ill in vest in a decent tube amp
im looking to spend around 200 250 thats about the price i can stretch to lol

That's as good a sound as you will hear Richie and very well played. If you were using your Fender Frontman I wouldn't change it, unless you need more power to gig with. The Toneriders you are buying are nice pickups, I have them fitted to a Sixties Classic Player Strat, though mine are the 'Pure Vintage' model.

I agree with the others, a great sound, but one thing you need to watch out for is hitting the notes a bit too early. IMHO almost all Shads tunes benefit from hitting the notes later rather than earlier.
All in all a very good first posting and we look fwd to hearing a lot more from you Richie.
