That sound from your guitar is excellent and captues the warm, slightly distorted sound on the original.

Terrific recording Bojan. :)

Love it, particularly the laid back second guitar part. Great sound and feel to one of my favourite Shads tracks. :D

Thanks for your comments gentlemen. I'm particularly happy to receive such nice compliments from such discerning and seasoned Shadows experts and guitarists who are not always easy to please :D

Brian, as far as the laid back second part is concerned, one part of that is Goran's BT itself, which is excellent. But I enhanced the guitar in his BT with a second harmony line and added some very discreet rhythm to make the sound of the BT fuller. Then, as in the original, I placed the BT on the left channel and the lead on the right.

Roger, no, it was not the white Apache but my Alan Brason "Strat" (with CS 54's and 12-56 Gibson L-5 strings).

This recording is more or less the same as earlier ones I made (same guitar, eTAP2, and Korg Ampworks). The only difference was that I played the song on a different part of the fretboard, using only the 2nd, 3rd, and lower strings, completely avoiding the 1st string to achieve an even fuller sound, and rolling down the treble even more.

Cheers,
Bojan

Certain guitarists are usually pleased when the track is worth listening to . . . . :D
