I was in a Beatles band for a great many years, I loved em.
Here's a video that I didn't know existed of the last gig we did in 2002.
It shows what a brillo band we were and how overweight .
P.S. That's me on the right.

Here's another......
After you've marvelled at the raucous audience singing ( it was after 1 o'clock in the morning ) listen to the strings from the guitar synths.

Brilliant! I think the Buttles should reform immediately...or would that be a Rebuttle?
Nice soloing on "Slow Down", Ecca.

It really sounds good - someone sounds just like George Harrison.
Nice tight vocals and a great sound.
Cheers Phil

The Singer ( Ian Garratley ), we all called him Cocka, looked more like Charlie Drake than John Lennon but what a voice, magnificent.
The guitarist on the left is Ant Brown, my son-in-law, we had (and have) a great relationship in the band, no fighting, no ego stuff.
It worked perfectly in doing, for example in Yesterday, he played the cellos and I played the viola/violin parts.
Likewise in In My Life he took the left hand and I took the right hand piano part in the piano solo in the middle quite apart from him being an excellent, fiery guitarist anyway.
The drummer took part in the technology as well, he had a pad that when he hit it, it triggered a sampler for example, the noise like a bomb dropping at the start of here Comes the Sun , he also sang which was a hell of a luxury in a band to have 4 singers, the harmonies were all the better for it.
I loved that bloody band but all things must pass.
Cheers
Ecca
